Ms Rachna Gautam has completed various degrees before dedicating her life to a noble purpose. She has already helped numerous people throughout her last 9 years of journey. She has established Befikra Bachpan a not-for-profit organization to help common people.

Her goal is to educate common people about the potential problem, and justice and take them to the rightful path in their life. She has faced a lot of challenges during this journey, where people have commented negatively about her, for speaking out on issues like rape. Being a female and speaking about sexual assault makes many people uncomfortable, and the founder of Befikra Bachpan understands that very well. Rather than running she has given all the people their due respect, argued with them and then made them understand the problem more deeply. As it said the light of knowledge removes the darkness of the mind, these bold ventures by Ms Rachna helped numerous people to understand the horror of these crimes, and the rights that they possess. With the motto – “We are here not for income, but for the outcome” of her organization, she has already set up awareness programs at Mithapur, Jaitpur, Malviya Nagar, Rohtak, Anganbadi, Temple etc. to bring common people under the light of education. When asked, she told her personal goal is to make people understand the crimes so that they don’t associate themselves with such criminal activities and fear the reciprocation of the law. She is allowing children from 3 years old to 18 years of age under her awareness program, where she teaches about good touch-bad touch, how to avoid certain situations, how to get help etc. it is the founder’s wish that the citizens of India embrace the new vision of India where all children are safe, secure and not abused. With her moral principle and bold heart, she and her organization are ready to fight all the challenges that will come their way.

Child abuse and torture of females in Indian society have been going on for a long time. Newlywed girls were particularly harassed for the longest time in history for having miscarriages based on disbelief and superstition. Little children who lived in a joint family, have been sexually assaulted by family members but couldn’t speak about it due to fear. Usually, due to a lack of awareness, common people don’t understand the fear that a victim goes through. Child abuse is equivalent to sabotaging India’s future, so safeguarding children from any type of major problem is a social and moral responsibility of every Indian citizen. The Indian constitution has given rights to act against the abuse of children under the POCSO act, of 2012. This act gives the right to speak against child abuse, the creation of child pornographic content, sexual harassment and such offences. The founder of Befikra Bachpan is working with this sole dream of educating common people about this act. Also, for those who are unaware of the law and committed such offences, the organization helps those rectify their mistakes and guides them to get on the right path in life.

The goal of the organization is three folds – Sustainable, Culture-based, and creative growth of the children with special attention to their education. Humanitarian assistance for anyone who is affected by a disaster or armed conflict. The delivery of justice, to the concerned party, specifically to the underprivileged people of India who usually get harmed by the unfair systems. While pursuing the goal the organization has already invested its resources in multiple domains. Almost 85% of the resources are invested in educating children and making sure, they access education to all. 40% of the resources are invested in the judiciary support for the abused party. The vision of the organization is set by the founder as being helpful to each other irrespective of religion, caste, or gender. Making sure that not a single child dies because of unavailability of care. Hungarians are fed with dignity and the availability of free knowledge for the Uneducated should be one of the moral responsibilities. With this moral ground, they have set up their mission as follows –
